Pre-wedding events often hold a different kind of energy. They happen before the formality of the wedding day, when excitement is building and people are simply coming together.

Whether it’s a Mehndi, a Jago night, an engagement celebration, or a relaxed family gathering, these moments tend to feel open and unguarded. Conversations linger. Laughter happens naturally. People arrive without feeling rushed.

I photograph these events in a documentary way, allowing the atmosphere to unfold as it is. Most of the time I’m observing and waiting, stepping in with gentle guidance only when it helps things flow.

Because these gatherings come before the wedding, they carry a sense of anticipation and connection that isn’t shaped by timelines. Photographing them quietly helps preserve that feeling.

The aim isn’t perfection. It’s to create images that reflect how these events felt, adding depth and context to the story that follows on the wedding day.

If you’re planning a pre-wedding event and would like it photographed in a relaxed, unobtrusive way, you’re welcome to check availability.
